A dark, off-kilter, interweaving waltz for the full array of double reed instruments - including a cameo from their reeds' trusty cane! Taking inspiration from the wisdom of my high school band director after giving the single reed players tips on taking care of their reeds: "I don't know what to tell you guys [oboes & bassoons]. You need some voodoo magic, or something!" A short and admittedly silly piece, the intricate scoring still demand the players keep focused to pull it off effectively.
