Always striving to say something with my playing, I bring enthusiasm & attentiveness to each performance in an effort to connect with my partners on stage and (by extension) each audience. I play all instruments in the oboe, saxophone, and clarinet families, aiming to bring the same standard of excellence to every instrument. Reeds & Instrument Rentals

As a doubler, having the right equipment for the job is an integral part of what I do. Many people helped me with my setups as I started my career, and I want to pay it forward by assisting other woodwind players with their double reed and auxiliary instrument journeys. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced player, young or old, I aim to meet you where you are and work with you to achieve your individual goals. Arrangements/Orchestration/Composition

Contrast & timbre are the aspects of music that most speak to me. I've always loved the impact master orchestrators can make by bringing out and exploring the breadth of tone colors available from the instruments of our world, and this appreciation led to my first steps into the world of arranging. Whether I'm transcribing something for a different instrumentation or writing something completely new, I strive to produce effective textures that take advantage of the strengths & weaknesses of the instruments for which I'm writing. As part of my exploration of the full span of available timbres, underrepresented instruments & groupings (when I can use them) have remained a staple of my arrangements & originals. To hear some of my writing, you can listen here.
