As a woodwind doubler, I understand that the sheer amount of equipment necessary to get started can be overwhelming. As such, in service to those who share in this passion but don't have all their own auxiliaries yet, I offer professional-level instruments for rental. My intent is to meet the needs of pros & aspiring pros so they can take that latest gig offer without worrying about where they're going to get their hands on that extra instrument. As a younger doubler myself, I'm still working on amassing my collection, so my current selection is admittedly rather limited, but it should still serve some common needs for instruments one might not yet own, especially for their second or third instruments' auxiliaries. A note on mouthpieces:

Our rentals are assumed to NOT include a mouthpiece or reeds with the instrument, as we encourage our renters to purchase their own mouthpieces so that they have a setup they are used to and is consistent. Having said that, we know that sometimes there isn't time to acquire or find them when you don't own an instrument and have an unexpected need for it. For this reason, we do have standard mouthpiece & ligature setups available to add to rentals for a small extra fee. There is a flat $15 per rental upcharge to include a mouthpiece & ligature in rentals of single reed instruments. Our ability to accommodate requests to include reeds for single reed instruments can't be guaranteed, as we don't stock single reeds intended for sale. For double reed instruments, we do sell reeds here on our website.
